Penang, in part

Penang is a whole section of Malaysia, or rather a state. It’s also an island with many towns. We opted for Georgetown, a British influence. We stayed one night and walked around the next morning. At first we needed a money changer, but we did get to see an interesting section with colonial buildings.

Then we headed off for the port, to see the fort and cannons, then onto the van to Thailand. Very tired but we are here in guesthouse after delicious Thai meal and ice cream.
