Santiago

The girls arrived and we gave up the rental car. Then we walked up the only mountain in the city, one of the only touristy things to do here. Santiago seems like a wonderful city to live in but so far we haven’t found much to see. There’a virgin on top of the hill/mountain (when you are climbing it) and I guess that makes it a penance of some kind for some people, certainly seemed like that to me as I limped to the summit with the help of the girls and Tom.

  1. Well that’s a relief. Now that I hear about the virgin and the mountain, my earlier fears of Tom having taken a wrong turn and winding up in Miami are lessened considerably.
