Where my dad was born.

Top of Tour BridgeThe first thing Claire taught us in French was “Paris is the most beautiful city in the world.” And so it is! Also the most delicious. We eat cheese, cheese and cheese. We drink wine. And we walk the streets from 9am to 9pm. We saw the Museum of the history of Paris and its fabulous gardens, the site of my father’s house (not there any more) but my grandma must have passed through the street and it was thrilling to be there, a perfect small restaurant for lunch of lamb, chicken, wine, dessert and coffee (all for $17. a piece), the Eiffel Tour (yes, Tom and I went up to the top), Notre Dame, various bridges, including the one with the locks, all sorts of government buildings and people. I took a million pictures.

  1. Hi Janice. Late entry. Who is the tall man with Tom and yourself? How did your father happen to be born in Paris? Love, Jack
